In the heart of the Marche hills, on the edge of the Abbadia di Fiastra Nature Reserve (1,825 hectares managed by the Giustiniani-Bandini Foundation), between Macerata and the Sibillini Mountains National Park. A position that lets your guests discover — before or after the wedding — the Cistercian Abbey of Chiaravalle di Fiastra, some of Italy's most beautiful villages, the Adriatic beaches, Assisi and Urbino.
Arriving from abroad. Ancona-Falconara (AOI) is the closest airport at 55 minutes. For intercontinental guests, Bologna (BLQ) and Rome Fiumicino (FCO) are practically equidistant — 2h 50 min and 2h 55 min respectively, both on the A14 motorway along the Adriatic coast. This gives couples real flexibility: guests can pick whichever transatlantic route works best on price and schedule, without any penalty on transfer time. Private transfers are available from all airports.

All indoor halls have both heating and air conditioning, which makes the borgo comfortable in every season — from July receptions to intimate winter ceremonies. We watch the forecast with you in the days before the wedding and make the final call together, usually on the morning itself, to leave the decision as late as possible.

Yes, Villa Castellani is licensed for civil ceremonies. We also regularly host symbolic outdoor ceremonies, and for couples choosing a religious rite, we work with historic churches and parish chapels in the surrounding villages.

Our indoor halls seat up to 300 guests — the same number as the gardens — so a wet-weather move does not mean cutting the guest list or leaving people standing. Sala Veranda seats 300, Sala degli Stucchi 280, Sala Camino 80, and the poolside gazebo has a fixed roof for 150. All halls have heating and air conditioning. We decide together with you, usually on the morning of the wedding.
